Furniture Care Guide
Keltür collections are crafted and expertly designed to withstand everyday use. However, as even the best-made furnishings and décor are not indestructible, normal wear and tear will reflect use and care. To keep your Keltür pieces looking their best, please follow this helpful guide of cleaning and maintenance recommendations.
Please note–some Keltür products may require extra special care that may not be covered by these recommendations.
Upholstery
Cushions and toss pillows can be a tempting target for wear, but don't worry. Just periodically rotate your cushion or throw to keep it fresh.
The best way to keep your upholstery looking new for years on end is by making sure that it's never exposed to direct sunlight or near sources of heat and moisture. This will help prevent fading, discoloration caused by environmental factors such as age/outdoor elements (elements), dirt particles in the fabric which can lead over time into missing pieces becoming unrepairable due texture changes when caredfor incorrectly.
Up-keep your sofa by vacuuming it regularly. Use the attachments on your vacuum to remove particles from crevices and under cushions, as well.
Spot-clean upholstery using an absorbent, undyed cloth to blot with smooth strokes. Blot from the outside towards middle of soiled area. Never scrub - that'll just dirty more surfaces than it disinfects.
Before you use any chemical on your upholstery, test it first by applying a small amount of the product to an hidden area.

Stone
Stone pieces may display natural mineral deposits, swirling lines and veining that will add character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance.
Spot-clean using a damp cloth, mild soap, and water. Use a towel to dry.
Occasionally clean using cleaning agents specifically designed for stone.
Cleaning stone surfaces can be easy with non-corrosive, nonabrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
For best results, follow use instructions for all cleaning products carefully. Do not over apply.
Stone surfaces are delicate and should not be treated with window cleaners containing acids such as lemon, vinegar or other strong smells. These chemicals could cause damage to the stone material which may lead for cracks.
Metal
Metal surfaces should be dusted regularly to remove any particles or loose dirt.
Avoid contact with excessive moisture.
Avoid using abrasives or harsh, corrosive chemicals as these could scratch the surface of your product.
Never place hot dishes directly on finished surfaces as this could cause scorching. The same goes for prolonged use of electrical equipment and other heat sources.
To protect your surfaces from scratches, scorings and water marks use coasters or trivets; felt pads are also an effective way to prevent damage.
Leather
Our leathers can be easily maintained by spot cleaning with a dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
Care for your leather upholstery the natural way with distilled water and an undyed cloth. This will help you preserve its beauty by adding back moisture into it.
Leathers are cleaned more thoroughly using wax-free leather cleaner and conditioner. For best results, follow instructions for all cleaning products carefully; do not over apply.
You can avoid the risk of damaging your furniture by using gentle cleaners.
Avoid harsh chemicals that may leave marks or solvents, as these could damage it in other ways.
Wood
With a protective lacquer finish, our wood furnishings are easily cleaned with mild soap and water. We recommend that you spot clean any areas which may have gotten dirty before drying the item off quickly so as not to stain it further than necessary.
To keep your wood surfaces looking their best, dust them with a soft cloth and non-wax furniture polish.

To prevent damage from moisture, wipe up spills immediately with a soft and dry undyed cloth.
Indoor furnishings should be placed in a location where they won't receive too much sunlight or near sources of heat and moisture. This could lead to cracking, changes in finishes and more.
When assembling new wood furnishings, make sure to tighten hardware only finger-tight at first. This will prevent cracking in the future and keep your investment safe.
