The designers were inspired by the barrel-shaped torsos of hippopotamuses when they created the Hippo series. The chairs in this series are upholstered in a variety of fabrics, and they have wooden legs that come in four different finishes. The hard-lined, strong legs contrast sharply with the soft, playful shapes of the chairs' bodies.
